Who are we

The Annual Congress on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CANN) is managed by the Catalan Society of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (hereinafter, the SCN²) with tax identification number G-66968769 and registered office at: Camí del Mas Roig al Mas Fuster, 59 casa, 08197, Valldoreix. The entity’s website is www.scn2.cat.

What data do we collect and for what purpose

The privacy policy described in this document prevails over any other information that may be available on the website www.scn2.cat/congres and pages within it.

Participation Forms

The only data that the SCN² collects is provided voluntarily by you through the registration forms and/or through e-mails of the communications you have with the entity.

The data we collect includes names, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and documents in PDF format about the person or created by the person filling out the form, and others related to it.

When you register your participation in the CANN Congres using our forms, we collect the necessary data to guarantee communications with you, the effective participation in the event, and to prevent the impersonation, as well as fraudulent entries in the participation.

Make sure you have explicit permission to provide the data you are providing. The SCN² is not responsible for the transfer of information or material not authorized by the owners of this.

Statistics

The data obtained, such as the research centres and universities where the participants carry out their activities, will be used to carry out statistics and analysis of the event. This information, completely anonymized and separated from personal data that allow its traceability or identification of people, will be used for the promotion of the CANN in a public and private way and for the improvement of the same in future editions, as well as the improvement and adequacy of the activities of the SCN² in global.

With whom we share your data

Your data will not be shared with any entity outside the SCN² or with any entity associated with it under any circumstances, unless we contact you to request informed consent and authorize such transfer.

The data you provide will be managed exclusively internally by persons authorized by the Board of Directors, or the General Assembly, provided that the reason for access is justified.

All information provided through this website is managed through the WordPress and Google Drive platforms, and servers of 10DENCEHISPAHARD, S.L. (cdmon) for information management and storage.

How long do we keep your data

By accepting the mandatory terms for registration, the data provided will be preserved for the entire period of the congress, which will be closed when the Board of Directors of the entity formally determines.

If you have provided any information to the SCN² using the participation forms or emails, you may request to receive a file with all the information we have about you arising from this interaction with the entity, including any information you have provided to us. You may also request that we remove any such data, except those that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
